The coast and countryside east of Malaga has chain of white villages; Nerja, Torrox and Frigiliana and further inland the villages of Sayalonga, Comares, Canillas de Aceituno, Archez and Competa. As the new motorway was inaugurated it only takes a little less than an hour to drive from Malaga airport to the eastern part of the Costa del Sol.

The Spanish word "Tranquilo" may have its origin somewhere in this region, because if it is a quiet rhythm of life, inspiration & a sense of inner peace you try to find, then this is the destination to look for it.
