Use the nail again to punch openings in the milk jug neck. Do this an inch or so beneath the lid of the milk container. Then you will get some wire and run it through the holes, twisting it together on top. That is what you are going to use to hold up the bird feeder.
You now are finished creating your simple bird feeder. All you need to do is fill it up with some birdseed. Take it outdoors and use the wire ends to suspend it from a tree or some other kind of support in your backyard. In order to attract a variety of birds, opt for black oil sunflower seeds in your new bird feeder.
