Some people looking to boost links to their website think that all articles need to be custom written by them and it needs to be totally original. With websites like Qondio, Ezine Articles, or Associated Content article directory to name a few, the answer is 100 percent yes, those are top sites to submit articles on and require totally new articles created by you. Something that is not often covered by most is the large variety of PLR written articles available to jump start the writing process. The term PLR stands for private label rights, and these rights allow one to rewrite or republish the article as you need to as if you wrote them yourself.

Should a bunch of results come back, you will need to make sure you do a good job of rewriting. If too many results come up, don't use that article and move on. The best thing is to rewrite each sentence 1 by 1 so you have a totally unique article based off the PLR article. Even if you have to rewrite, its way faster most of the time than creating an entirely new article, unless you happen to be an expert on the topic of the article. If that was the case, you probably would not need PLR articles.

Where the use of PLR articles is very useful, is in the creation of niche sites, such as pig farming, composting, windmill repair or other topic which interests you, but you are by no means an expert on or may know nothing about. Someone else has given you a head start with an article which you can insert your link into and submit to niche article directory, whether it needs to be rewritten or not. I usually publish these types of articles to Article Friendly article directory sites, there are thousands of them out there. Article Friendly is a widely used article directory script that many people have purchased to run an article directory on their web sites, they are easy to open an account at, and when you publish the article its live most of the time right away.

You will need to have a variety of account names and many different AF sites using various emails so that your submission of articles is mixed up and it does not look like the same person is publishing similar articles on the same general topic. In the beginning, it will take some time to get your accounts all set up to use, but if you want there are always other tools to help speed up the process.
